Tristan Radford is the proud owner of Exact Cable Locating Services – a proudly South Australian owned and operated family business focused on protecting underground assets through certified, professional locating services.

Experience

With over 10 years’ experience in the construction and building industry, Tristan has seen first-hand the damage and delays caused by unsafe digging and the failure to engage qualified locators.

These experiences inspired his move into underground cable and pipe locating, driven by a commitment to help others, and avoid costly and dangerous asset strikes.

Equipment

At Exact Cable Locating Services, we use Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) technology to accurately detect underground cables and pipes.

We follow Before You Dig Australia (BYDA) protocols and perform onsite asset marking using Australian Standard colour coding.

All work is completed in alignment with Australian Standard AS5488 – Classification of Subsurface Utility Information, ensuring clear, consistent, and reliable data.
